Washington Sundar did not deserve that silly chirping by England. He played with great courage and skill. He had never made a Test century. He DESERVED one. #ENGvIND
Given there's another Test in about 10 minutes - well, that's how it seems - there's surely something to be said for keeping England out there a bit longer? On the basis of doing what your opponent likes least... seems fair enough to me.
Just seen Tom Lehrer’s died. Brilliant satirist, lyricist, inspiration. Also let us update his songs more than once on the Bremner, Bird & Fortune shows. So, generous and a gentleman too. RIP a great man
If England aren't bothered about milestones i fully expect to see a few declarations when players are in the 90s moving forward ... of course that will never happen , rendering that notion utter bullshit .
Gotta say, I’ve lost a lot of respect for @Harry_Brook_88 & @benstokes38 for the way they’ve carried on, begrudging tons for 2 blokes who batted their hearts out. Absolute pork chops. The spirit of cricket & sportsmanship is only relevant when it suits them, apparently. #ENGvIND
In 2025, not a single first class match held at Old Trafford has ended in anything but a draw. Someone should probably have a word with the groundsman.
Not a single result at Old Trafford this season. 🚮 🗑️
Someone asking if we’d like Corbyn as PM. Where to start with this rubbish? He’s already lost 2 GEs. Anyone remember his appalling behaviour over the Salisbury poisonings or the idiotic demand that Article 50 be triggered the day after the Referendum? He’s staggeringly unfit.
Stokes was surprised how can someone look for century when they have nothing to gain in terms of outcome. Completely opposite of his own century when they could've declared early and bought more time instead of looking for his own 150.
To beat the world champions in a final, and to come from behind in every knockout game is an extraordinary effort. Wiegman deserves enormous credit for her ability to create a winning culture. Three Euros wins in a row across two different teams is phenomenal. #Lionesses

🧱 Hannah Hampton, who was born with a serious eye condition, was told by doctors she should not play football. 🧱 Luckily for us, she ignored them and she's just saved two penalties to win England the EUROs.
He deserved that hundred. Stokes had the right to ask the question. They, quite rightly, told him to sod off. It wound England up, which was invariably part of the plan. And there was bugger all England could do about it. Player got played.
Just so refreshing to watch a team working together. The energy it generates. Go Lionesses. A welcome break from all the negatively generated by a minority political party who only speaks about negatives.
India are completely right to want to play on and England are completely right to try and get them to to pack it in? Shock as both teams try and do things as in their interests
An inspiring story… Hannah Hampton, take a bow! 👏🏴🏆
Bruce Springsteen - Streets of Philadelphia #90s
Hannah Hampton has no depth perception. She had multiple operations on her eyes before she was 5 years old. She was told she’d never play professional sport. What she’s just done defies description, medical science, anything else you can name. A phenomenal human being. 🥲

Is this a trailer for Farage's next advert/promotion/appearance on BBC politics Live or Question Time?
This never gets old 😂😂
India were perfectly entitled to bat on until Washington and Jadeja had reached hundreds. They had worked exceptionally hard for them and it clearly meant a lot. Equally don’t blame England for turning to part time bowling once a draw became certain….
