Next season, Newport County will wear an away shirt in the colours of Athletic Club. The shirt commemorates the ‘Basque Children of '37’ evacuated to Wales during the Spanish Civil War. Beautiful shirt, beautiful gesture between our friends at @Athletic_en and @NewportCounty.

For what it’s worth, I don’t actually fear for the future of the club - not in terms of no longer existing and things like that. Genuinely feel like there are too many wealthy and/or important #SWFC fans out there for that to happen. But am I worried about the here and now? 100%
