When you’re in the desert, you’re right where God works. God says, “Because you’re My child, because you’ve called on My name, I’m not going to leave you in a dry place. I’m going to make rivers in your desert. I’m going to create streams in your barren place.”
Thoughts whisper, “This is how it will always be for you: lonely, addicted, not having enough.” God knows how to make rivers in that desert, a fountain in that valley. You’re going to go from dry, thirsty, parched, to blessed, promoted, healed, restored.
God is not going to leave you thirsty. He sees what you’re dealing with. He knows how long it’s been, how you’ve persevered and done the right thing even when you felt overlooked. He knows how to quench your thirst. Listen to this message from Joel, "Rivers in the Desert":…

God knows how to make rivers in the desert, and fountains spring up in the valley. Unexpected blessings. Healing you can’t explain. Promotion that you didn’t see coming. Springs in the barren places. Pools in the wilderness.
When you’re believing, when you're searching, when you're thirsty and you can’t seem to quench it, God makes this promise, “I will not forsake you. I will answer you.” Tune into Joel’s message today! "Rivers in the Desert": bit.ly/3LwFSDa
The Scripture says, “Those that hunger and thirst after righteousness will be filled.” There needs to be a thirst, a faith, an expectancy. Let faith rise up and you’ll see God do unusual things, things you can’t explain.
What God is going to do is not natural, not ordinary, not something you can calculate. He’s not limited by your job, your boss, your talent, the family you come from. He supersedes those things. One touch of His favor will put you into overflow, abundance, more than enough.
Are the voices in your ear dream stealers or dream releasers? Block out the negativity, the naysayers, the never-going-to-happen voices. Instead, surround yourself with people who speak faith, life, and victory.
Why are you still holding a grudge over who hurt you, who walked away, what you didn’t get? That didn’t stop God’s plan. What they did is not going to keep you from your purpose. God saw it and He has a plan to bring you out better.
When worry, fear, and anxiety are taking your strength, draining your energy, your joy, your passion, you have to quiet your soul. Come back to a place of peace. That’s when you’ll feel strength, confidence, and joy, even in the midst of a difficult time.
We’re human. Doubt comes to us all. These times we think, “This doesn’t seem possible.” We’re looking at it from our own abilities. But God said, “Never doubt what I can do. Never doubt My mighty power.” Don't miss this powerful message, "A Never Doubt Mindset" from Joel!…

Spend time taking care of your soul. We don’t realize how much our emotions, our attitudes, our thoughts affect us physically. The Scripture says, “I wish above all things that you succeed and be in good health, even as your soul prospers.”
