@JoeLombardoNV
31st Governor of Nevada. Husband, dad, and granddad. Former Sheriff of Clark County & Law Enforcement Officer of 34 years.
It was the honor of my life to be sworn in as the 31st Governor of Nevada this morning. I look forward to the inauguration ceremony tomorrow, where I’ll deliver my first remarks as governor. To follow my official account, follow me at @JosephMLombardo.

I pushed hard for true open enrollment and am proud to have delivered it with huge bipartisan support. This is an important first step to ensure kids trapped in failing schools can get the education they deserve. the74million.org/article/nevada…
Welcome to Nevada, @a16z! We’re open for business, and we’re excited to welcome you to #TheNevadaWay!
We are moving the state of our incorporation from Delaware to Nevada. It used to be a no-brainer to start a company and incorporate in Delaware. That’s no longer the case. We're not the first - Dropbox, Tripadvisor and Tesla have already left. Why we're moving (and why you…
Happy Independence Day! Today, we celebrate our country, its extraordinary history, and our freedom. God bless Nevada, and God bless America!

My statement on President Trump’s address to the nation this evening:
Happy 250th birthday to the United States Army! As a proud Army veteran, I’ll always be grateful for the values, discipline, and sense of duty the Army instilled in me. To all who serve and have served, thank you for defending our freedom. 🇺🇸

We just passed the state's first open enrollment system, so kids can attend the school that best fits their needs, not just the one in their zip code. More choice, more accountability, and more opportunity. That’s the Nevada Way. the74million.org/article/nevada…
Nevada students deserve better, and we delivered. This bill brings historic education reform: open enrollment, transportation to better schools, and real accountability. We’re giving parents more choice and students more opportunity. reviewjournal.com/news/politics-…
We delivered historic wins this session, cutting red tape to build more housing and expanding school choice so every student can succeed. Nevada’s future is brighter, and we’re just getting started.
My statement on the conclusion of the 83rd (2025) Session of the Nevada Legislature
The Assembly unanimously passed our bipartisan Nevada Housing Access and Attainability Act, taking a major step toward expanding housing opportunities and protecting the dream of attainable housing for families across our state. reviewjournal.com/news/politics-…
Nevadans shouldn’t have to wait for care. My Healthcare Access Act streamlines Medicaid, cuts red tape, reforms prior authorizations and speeds up provider reimbursements. It’s about putting patients first.
Thank you, Peter and @lvlcc!
LCC President Testifies in support of Governor Lombardo’s Education Bill! Supporting our kids is our priority! @JoeLombardoNV
Today, I introduced the Accountability in Education Act to deliver results for Nevada’s students. It’s time for transparency, better outcomes, and real school choice. Families deserve to know their kids are getting the education they were promised.
Wow! Thank you so much for being here to support the Accountability in Education Act. Together, we’re going to bring school choice, accountability, and unprecedented opportunity to K-12 education in Nevada.
#Nvleg We are here to support Gov. @JosephMLombardo #AB584 Accountability In Education Act
Today, I introduced the Nevada Healthcare Access Act. Nevada deserves a stronger healthcare system. Our bill expands the workforce, boosts mental health care, and streamlines services statewide. I look forward to working with the Legislature to get this done.
.@JosephMLombardo is fighting to raise salaries for ALL teachers - no matter which school they teach in.
Nevada’s education budget must include equal pay for charter school teachers. I’ve been clear: No budget gets signed without it. No more politics, just fairness for every teacher.
