Last week, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals temporarily delayed the effective end date for Afghanistan's TPS designation. Today, the court decided it's now letting the designation expire. Still, the court acknowledged that the Afghans likely had a strong argument.

My colleague @danielsalazarTX points out the glaring inconsistencies in the WH approach to Afghanistan. In one breath, it argues that Afghanistan is safe to return to, and in the next, it argues the regime is too dangerous as to warrant a full travel ban on Afghan nationals.
