I work with Trinidad, an exercise physiologist who’s been helping me build up my strength after three years of on-and-off surgeries. The only problem is, she’s showing me how to use muscles I didn’t even know I had.

Talk about daphne! It just goes crazy here all on its own. There’s another whole bed of it just coming into bloom. A great way to keep warm and cook dinner. Most of the veg is out of the garden… still pinching myself.

When I was 14 years old I bought Paranoid by Black Sabbath and drove everyone crazy with it. It helped cement my need to be in a band. I wanted to rock just like Ozzy. RIP to one of the wildest and the funniest men in music. You will always be remembered and loved.

School holidays are coming to an end and we won’t get many more games in. Dylan had to leave for dinner so we called it a draw. Thank goodness because he had me on the ropes.

Jane’s dad, John, turned 89 today. We all surprised him at the gym and took him out for lunch. What a great family to be a part of. @jane13barnes

Jane & I have been able to spend over 2 weeks at home. It’s been such a needed restful time for me. We’ve been eating a lot of what we grow, but there’s a critter eating our carrots. Jane’s baking sourdough loaves everyday…it used to be my job, but of course she’s great at it.…

Sunday is very much a family day, and it’s nice to hear what EJ really thinks of me. She’s right of course… I’m a teddy bear. @ejie

These goats have been here eating down the brambles. They had to go home while the storms smashed us last week, but they’re back. This one ‘Cody’ is very nice natured and eats everything in her path. I’ve never seen anything like it.
