19 June 1608: St Thomas Garnet #Jesuit (nephew of Henry, also a #Jesuit martyr) protomartyr of #English College of St. Omer tried at the Old Bailey #otd for having been made priest by Papal authority contra a statute of 27 Eliz. Executed at Tyburn on 23 June 1608.
