One of the biggest threats to WordPress is how easy AI makes it to spin up custom features/functionality. Which means developers can be less reliant on plugins. And if you don't need plugins, do you even need WordPress?
Thought I found an alternative from @GSheetConnector - but it's even more obnoxious. Huge ad at the top of the page. And the best part? The "X" is fake - if you click it, it clicks/opens the ad. Insane these are both available in the WordPress Plugin Directory.

Are people really not using the Claude Code VSCode Extension? It gives you a very Cursor-like experience if that’s what you want.
I don't really get Claude Code. Why do you guys want to sit in a terminal to look over changes vs the multi-tasking capability and UX of the whole IDE? I must be missing something!
WordPress Friends. Now that we’re all coding with LLMs, we’re hard coding ACF fields in PHP, right? I can’t figure out a better workflow. Tried the JSON sync in reverse but the file becomes massive too quickly.
Played with Claude Code a bit. Guess we don’t need Cursor anymore.
WordPress Devs. What bundler are you using for WP theme development? Webpack? Mix? Vite? Something else?
Was suprised @payloadcms Forms Plugin didn't have an upload field. But then was absolutely blown away by how easy it was to just...make our own. 🤯

Cursor + @payloadcms is such a killer combo. If you’re using a CMS, you should be using Payload.

Something not talked about enough. @payloadcms being fully configured with code means you’re really able to have AI scaffold a lot for you. Tell Cursor the collection you want and the fields you need and you’re set.
