What I don’t get with Inheritance Tax is that you’ve already paid tax on what you’ve earned over the years so why when you die the person who receives that money has to then pay tax on it again? Why? This doesn’t seem right or fair.

When I grew up in the 60s 70s you respected the police because you knew they were there to look out for you. It’s a pretty sad state of affairs when you can no longer trust the Police to do the right thing by you. If you can’t trust the police then who can you trust?

If your partner dies who thinks their full Pension Pot should automatically go to the spouse?

Pensions are not free money as they have been earned over many years. The Government should not be allowed to keep putting this above people’s reach as they paid into the system in good faith expecting to get something out in later life. Leave our pensions alone !!!
