Poets, how long after your work appears in a magazine do you wait before posting your poem? Is it only fair to wait a while so that the magazine can sell a few issues, or don't you think that matters?

In idyllic West Cork last week, I was told to go back to Africa. I went to @BantryHouse instead. I wonder if there are any objects in the collection that come from sunnier climes & whether the house would be interested in a poetic response/investigation?
