Witness of Christ
@JennicaMSmith81
God Lives. I am His daughter and a witness of Him. Through the power of prayer, scriptures, and revelation, we can know Him. I testify, He Is.
I have created a new home for the experiences I have begun sharing. My purpose is to normalize Bibical experiences in hopes of increasing faith to the point that all may experience the same. I am writing, mainly, to the already faithful. So far I have written 3 posts: "My…
This is the gospel. Not exclusion. Not purity tests. Just open doors and open hearts. “Come in. All of you.” That’s Christ’s church.
Emma Smith’s doorstep invitation to Jane Manning and her family after walking 1000+ miles to Nauvoo (after being denied passage on a ship from Buffalo because of her skin color) to join the saints so powerfully reflects my understanding of Christ’s church “Come in. All of you”
So well said. We are not living up to our privileges. It's a good time to learn how. Brett is a fantastic source for understanding what it means to live up to the privileges we have been given. Of course the scriptures, Apostles, prophets - the first source. But there are many…
If this “fulness of the priesthood” was lost - what does that mean? Will it be part of the ongoing restoration that President Nelson mentioned, or is it a part of the “restoration of all things” that was prophesied? Did the church lose its way completely, or as He did in the…
Today was a beautiful day. I'm grateful for holidays, I love time spent simply being happy to be with one another. And, of course, I am grateful to the many in my family line that have made my life and circumstances possible. The pioneers gave up literally everything to build…
Yes!
"O that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart, that I might go forth and speak with the trump of God, with a voice to shake the earth, and cry repentance unto every people!" –Alma 29:1
I can say in all honesty that Joseph has done more, save Jesus only, for the salvation of my family, than any man that has ever lived. I know him, I love him, he is my Prophet and my friend. He lives and is still guiding the Lord's people as he helps to gather Zion. Truly,…
Joseph Smith accomplished more than any mortal man could have accomplished in so short a time. During his 38 and a half years of life, Joseph Smith was a man of the frontier—young, emotional, dynamic, and so loved and approachable by the people that they often called him…
This single verse has taught me so much the past few years. And it has been a lifesaver in explaining certain things to those who have not had this experience. Do we recognize what's available to us? Are we taking advantage of what the Lord has prepared for us? If not, why? Why…

A Prophet of God. ❤️❤️❤️
This is the most interesting quote I've found regarding both the creation of our spirits AND the existence of a Heavenly Mother, in the same paragraph by President Spencer W. Kimball. Take from it what you will. I find it pretty definitive.
After these miraculous healings occur (which indeed are miraculous), what then? Billions (plural in a world of only 8.2)? Are there billions so badly affected - or is there something they'll want to do to improve the rest of us?
Neuralink will do live-changing good for ultimately millions, maybe billions, of people. Imagine your loved one being able to walk again or your parent with dementia being able to recognize their child again.
Playing Connect Four with my 4 year old. Every time I go to drop a piece, she laughs and tells me "no not there!" And moves it in a place she prefers. Excuse me, young lady, but that was Satan's plan, I denied that long ago. (This is a tweet justifying beating my 4 year old.)

Yes, this. Forgive. x.com/JennicaMSmith8…
To forgive is divine because it reflects the mercy God offers each of us. He commands us to seek His mercy through repentance—and to show that same mercy by forgiving those who hurt us. Forgiveness doesn’t change the past, but it frees us to heal through Christ.
This is heartbreakingly incorrect. We are literal children of Heavenly Parents. Earthly traditions are reflections to remind us of this fact. Just as we create bodies for our littles, bodies were created for our intelligence in the premortal existence by a loving (Divine) Father…
I'm Going to Say It Because It Needs to Be Said In August of 2010, I wrote a widely circulated blog post about the error of the black priesthood ban which was about 1.5 years before the Church posted this statement in their newsroom (for the first time ever). "We condemn…
(Mother in Heaven/singular, not plural) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches that all human beings, male and female, are beloved spirit children of heavenly parents, a Heavenly Father and a Heavenly Mother. This understanding is rooted in scriptural and…
Today, we lay my beautiful momma's body below the dirt in its final resting place. My heart is torn between peace in the knowledge she is with our Lord and Savior and the utter heartache of loss. Until we meet again. My Mother, my example, my friend.
As President of the Church, President Nelson has made several promises to those who regularly worship and serve in the house of the Lord. thechurchnews.com/leaders/2024/1…
When I see things like this, I can imagine the angels in heaven sitting around thinking up ideas regarding how to remind the world of Christ. One of them jumps up with, "Oh, I got an idea - lights in the sky!" And they scurry to make it work. Having spoken dozens of times with…
Some atmospheric event in Alabama formed light in the shape of Jesus!
In a world of ever increasing darkness, Hallelujah for this truth. May He, with Father and the Holy Ghost, be the only companions we seek in this life. Everyone has the Light of Christ, both internal and external - some even call this "Spirit". Few have the gift of the Holy…
Jesus IS the Christ!
My 17 year old joined our walk this morning. He decided to take us off our regular path to a new one, ironically called, "Off the Beaten Path." Good thing back fusion is already scheduled. That was a steep hill. Ouch. Beautiful, though. God's creations and all that. 10/10 beauty.

Notice how no one shown in this thread mentioned theology? Now that doesn't mean theology is unimportant, it absolutely is. What it does mean, though, is that the way you live your life and treat others will always make a stronger impression than theological grandstanding.
A shift is happening. The online conversation about members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is different. Examples:
