I’m terribly sorry your blog was confused by the idea that we can have bike lanes while preserving parking.
I joined members of our community to remember Detective Miosotis Familia for the love she displayed for her uniform & our city. I will continue advocating for NYS law to change, allowing the survivors of single, fallen NYPD members to receive the benefits & justice they deserve.

I was very excited to attend the ribbon cutting dedicating the new & improved Strong Street Playground on Reservoir Avenue. Kingsbridge Heights is a beautiful neighborhood and this playground will serve our community for many years to come.

I introduced and championed this legislation to adjust the enforcement of Local Law 157 until sufficient natural gas detectors are available and safe. We cannot and should not penalize New Yorkers for not installing a device that is nearly impossible to meet.
