Learn physics: http://PhysicsGraph.com Full stack engineer, learning math/ai. Day Job Terminal49 http://youtube.com/@jeffrey_codes http://jeffreycodes.com/ai
We're launching PhysicsGraph.com today! * Spaced repetition * Mastery learning * Lessons built by an expert (no slop!) * Only high school math required * Dynamic placement quiz so you don't waste time First course is Intro to Quantum Computing
I love this visual because everyone that has done a math or physics degree understands this is what real learning looks like. You need stacks on stacks of paper with solved problems on them. My closet back home had this piled nearly to the ceiling by the end of undergrad.
Finishing MF3 took 2 months, 6381 XP, and 61 A4 sheets. MF I + II took 80 sheets and just 1 month. I enjoyed MF3 a lot. Even though I had to do a bunch of required reviews to get through the lessons, I'd say I definitely need more practice to master them.
Day 3 @physicsgraph - Complex N- Vectors If you like puzzles, you should give this a try.
I discovered @physicsgraph just a day before my flight and I haven’t been able to put it down since. Huge respect to @sutherlandphys and @JeffreyBiles for building something truly special. You couldn’t ask for a better introduction to node-based, spaced repetition learning.
So as a university lecturer, how does one present the material to 300+ students in a way that's appropriate to everyone? You can be the most well meaning teacher in the world, but it's simply just an impossible task.
I wanted to explain a bit more of my story around why we started @lemnisket . I used to be a physics lecturer at a US university from 2018-2021, where my main job was teaching large freshman level physics sections. This had been my dream since I was 18!
We just published the Knowledge Graph for Intro to Quantum Computing physicsgraph.com/course-map Be sure to scroll down and zoom in, the coolest stuff is at the end of the course!

The Math Academy crowd should definitely take a look at this. Introduction to Quantum Computing for a set fee. Pretty cool. They just launched. I started yesterday and it's fun. MA
You asked, we answered You can now buy Intro to Quantum Computing for a single price - no subscription And you still get * Spaced Repetition * Mastery Learning * Lessons built by an expert * Start where you are, no heavy math or physics prereqs physicsgraph.com
Bro mathacademy of physics just dropped?

Day 2: Quantum Computing journey with @physicsgraph @lemnisket Working through Euler's formula and Properties of complex numbers in polar form. For me, math feels like play, even when I make minor mistakes. It's summer recreation for this 47 year old female elementary teacher.
these are the learning outcomes for the intro to quantum computing course btw
GUYS MY BESTIE @sutherlandphys IS REVOLUTIONIZING EDUCATION. I CANNOT GIVE HIM A HARDER VOUCH
ITS LIVE. FINALLY! Intro to Quantum Computing This has been 8 months in the making. Mastery learning style, built in spaced repetition, well scaffolded, etc. The beginning of "Math Academy for Physics". (no affiliation, and a bold claim, I know, but hear me out):
First impressions of @physicsgraph @lemnisket I feel like the Explanations give enough information w/out needing an Example. So, I actually try to work the Examples, instead of studying them. I do like the solutions after questions even when I get it right, though I often skip.

if you guys had to choose between these two options, which do you prefer for the intro to quantum computing course (with built in SRS like Math Academy):
a lot of you want a one-time fee for JUST the intro to quantum computing, so we added one! We offered this to a group of 15 beta cohort participants for $200 earlier this year, but we really are proud of it so we put a limited time launch price of $99. lemnisket.com

I love Mathematics too! I just subscribed to @physicsgraph/@lemnisket and getting reacquainted with imaginary and complex numbers is like visiting old friends I haven't talked with for years. @sutherlandphys & @JeffreyBiles have built a beautiful way to learn Quantum Computing.
@physicsgraph Day1: Here I come! Thanks @sutherlandphys & @JeffreyBiles for building @lemnisket I just finished Trigonometry on @khanacademy and I have a month before I go back to teaching school. So, this is a perfect time to dig in and do my best to learn Quantum Computing. ML
Very cool project. Going to keep an eye on this one.

Should we add a one-time-purchase option for individual courses?
