How is it possible that every depth guy on this team is having a career year? Something magical brewing.
Have a start, Gaus. 6 IP 1 H 0 R 1 BB 10 K Need more dominance like this from him down the stretch.
George Springer has a higher OPS than Bryce Harper. What world are we living in?
Interesting pitcher with upside.
Something clicked for Lauer in the second half of 2021. He’d become one of the best pitchers in baseball for a brief moment, going 11-3 with a 2.29 ERA over a 24 start stretch (137.1 IP). He’s made significant mechanical changes in the past. Interesting pitcher with upside.
How do you even make an add on the position player side? Ernie, Loperfido, Wagner, Lukes… The depth guys are the reason this is the best team in baseball. Go get Clase and call it a day.
Yariel Rodriguez May - June - July 32 G 38.1 IP 1.17 ERA 0.68 WHIP .137 BAA 2.1 BB/9 8.9 K/9 Just a ridiculously dominant stretch.
It is insane to think we’ve been frustrated with his performance all year and yet he has a 131 OPS+ and leads the team in WAR.

Vladdy and Bo hugging after the home run just reminds me that we’ve waited years for a team like this. I’m just so happy for us.
Aaron Judge having more home runs in a Yankee uniform than Alex Rodriguez hurts my brain.
Seth Lugo got the win today against a ridiculously good Cubs team. He has a 2.95 ERA & 1.09 WHIP in 19 GS this season after being the AL Cy Young runner-up last year. Sure, he’s 35 and doesn’t throw 98 but he’d be a damn good add. Reminds me of Marco Estrada.
Nathan Lukes Last 15 Games 9 R 16 H 5 BB 5 XBH 9 RBI .348/.412/.500 (.912 OPS) He’s close to cementing himself as this team’s leadoff hitter, at least vs RHP. .370 OBP in 300+ PA over the last two seasons.
Will Wagner Since Returning 12 G 8 R 11 H 4 BB 5 2B .333/.436/.485 (.921 OPS) Interesting development.
