22x16 watercolor of a neat building I saw walking around Pasadena, CA


Rock and leaf studies with watercolor in the botanical gardens today. Nice to break from doomscrolling and screens and just draw rocks for a bit.

Driven indoors by the insane heatwave here, my plein air class took to find interior inspiration - luckily there is a FANTASTIC exhibit of pottery work by my friend Alexandra Watrous with some lovely flowers so I got in some studies of the flowers and her work
