I went along to the online launch event for the Women's Budget Group's report on gender wealth inequality. The gender wealth gap is 21%, which is mostly driven by the gender pension wealth gap, which is 43%. (!!) Highly recommend reading the report. wbg.org.uk/publication/th…
Shocking statistic from the ONS that 1 in 8 women were victims of sexual assault, domestic abuse, or stalking in the last year. We need sufficient, long-term funding for services and a genuine commitment for action to address the root causes of violence against women and girls
