This morning, I was glad to chair and officiate the Accountability forum where MOH and partners convene to reflect on the actions of the previous Sudan Ebola Virus Outbreak. This is a testament to our shared commitment to strengthening health systems and protecting lives.
We had a successful three day Triple Elimination of HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B conference. I would like to appreciate the organizers and partners for their support. The triple elimination is possible!

Lira RRH General Theatre resumes operations after 4 months closure. @JaneRuth_Aceng reopened the renovated theatre that used to handle 30–45 surgeries daily. The hospital Director, @DrOdur73456 says this is a major shift with "Epoxy" floors, a modern flooring technology.

Today, the Minister of Health, @JaneRuth_Aceng will officiate the pass out of 98 Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs) at the Uganda College of Commerce, Aduku in Kwania District. The CHEWs were trained with support from @WorldBank through the UCREPP project. #MOHatWork
