Very happy to see this out! Many thanks to @horch_lab, @JamesBirrell86 & Co for this cool collaboration! It is a pleasure to work with you guys!
Check out our latest work, published in @ChemicalScience! 2D-IR spectroscopy provides an entirely new view on [FeFe] hydrogenase: doi.org/10.1039/D5SC01…
Awesome collaboration with @JamesBirrell86, with great contributions from everyone at @CLF_STFC, Neil Hunt's group at @ChemistryatYork, and @_PatriRM.

It is a real pleasure to collaborate with you guys! 😊
Thanks to @horch_lab and the rest of his awesome team, especially Cornelius Bernitzky and Yvonne Rippers. I also want to thank @_PatriRM for help with preparation of beautiful [FeFe] hydrogenase samples.

In this proof of concept study we apply 2DIR to the O2 stable Hinact state of the [FeFe] H2ase from D. desulfuricans. 2DIR allows extraction of intra- and intermode anharmonicities. Combined with computations this provides exquisite insight into active site structure & dynamics.
Super happy to see this out! Have a read at this interesting paper: the application of the 2D IR to [FeFe] hydrogenases
Out now in @chemicalscience.rsc.org: We apply 2DIR spectroscopy to study [FeFe] hydrogenase for the first time. Check it out! pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…
I'm truly excited to announce our new publication in @Nature unraveling a central picture of the Methyl-coenzyme M reductase (MCR) activation machinery and it's strong ATP dependency - kudos to @AnujR2d2 for the fantastic illustration! LINK: nature.com/articles/s4158…
Big day today! Excited to share our new publication in @ChemCommun about the formation of the very important hydride state in [FeFe] hydrogenases! Enjoy the reading ☺️ pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…
Dr Patricia Rodriguez Maciá from @uniofleicester will be attending #EAP2025 to give a talk on Biocatalysis with a focus on Spectroscopic and Analytical approaches.
