7 years ago, I hacked together a simple Twitch chat viewer for my car stream. Twitch chat wouldn’t work directly in the car browser for reasons. Yesterday, I rewrote it from scratch now with OBS control, scene switching, SRT stream status, and more. Meld support coming soon!
The interesting part about this is because they took so long to get the API out, users have and are still providing their login details to 3rd parties to get features that the API doesn’t do. Which is why it’s very important to have a API that does what users need it to.
