This is why, to me, Sanders fall from projected first rounder (at worst early 2nd) to likely falling past the third is the most shocking draft slide I can remember since I began following the draft as a kid in 03.
Dillon Gabriel always struck me as a really good college QB who doesn’t have the game that’ll translate well in the NFL.
When I look at my Falcons fandom from an objective lens, I don’t care what college the drafted player came from. But the subjected fan in me who also pulls for UGA is so damn happy! Go Dawgs!

Brooks point about schools “asking fans to fund NIL” is an overlooked point to me that emphasizes how bad the system for D1 college athletics is.
It’s not about being unhappy with college athletes getting paid. It’s about the filth that’s come with it. And the tactics being used, while asking fans to fund it that’s pissed off a LOT of die hard CFB fans.
