Politico type occasionally offering solid takes on telly. Formerly around Parliament, now @goodgrowthfdn. DMs open.
Veeeeery excited to say that I’m heading back into the wonderful world of thinking in a tank - from tomorrow, I’ll be joining @GoodGrowthFdn as their new Head of Policy and Advocacy. Feel free to slide into the DMs for a catch up coffee/wine in Westminster and beyond!
Literally today
Could you imagine this in the UK? The shopping centre would be closed down within 24 hours for being racist and far-right. This is what I love about Thailand and its people. Patriotic and proud of its heritage and history.

The English are never done. It’s time to go again 🏴
Can you hear me Konstantin Kisin? Are you watching Matthew Goodwin? I have a message for you in this election campaign. Your theories about who is and isn't English took a hell of a beating again tonight!
Reform UK can't just go around writing unhinged letters threatening investors with reprisals for growing our green economy and creating good, well-paid jobs. Here's my response and the questions they need to answer - signed by 58 Labour MPs.
RENEWABLE NOTICE I have written today to bosses of: Octopus Centrica RWE SSE Renewable Orsted Scottish Power Equinor Vattenfall Notifying them of the political risks of any bids for this years AR7 Net Stupid Zero is ruining our countryside & economy Reform intend to stop it
Say thank you lionesses for defeating NIMBYism
A reminder that as a result of the @Lionesses' win today, pubs in the United Kingdom can stay open until 1am next Tuesday night as a result of the first-ever automatic extension of the licence for women's football. For @ForbesSports #SWEENG #WEuro2025 forbes.com/sites/asifburh…
This tweet is funny because it just describes the process of ageing
Just to put the #votesat16 into context, as it stands, those who are 12 years old today, will have the right to vote at the next General Election. To not put this to an advisory referendum is pure insanity.
So I just want to add a corrective here - and to other bits I’ve seen suggesting similar things. The narrative that Farage/Reform are popular among young people is false - they’re on ~10% with 18-24s, compared to ~30% for Labour. Labour are most popular choice for young voters.
“It’s Reform who will be punching the air…It’s anyone but the Labour Party.” The How to Win team react to the government’s plans to lower the voting age to 16. @Dannythefink @pollymackenzie @patrickkmaguire 🗳️ How To Win An Election 🎧 pod.fo/e/2fda1e
I feel sorry for the misanthropes that shun women’s football because this England side is just *phenomenal* to watch. #ENGWAL
