#BringHerBack might share creative DNA with Talk to Me in the broad strokes, but the Philippous have refined their ideas and tightened their scope in a way that lets Bring Her Back become far more emotionally devastating. You can read my full review below:thechive.com/entertainment/…
Maybe it's because I just watched Coming 2 America this week, a comedy sequel made decades later that I hated, but I am not particularly enthusiastic about this movie's chances of not sucking. Maybe the trailer will change my mind, we'll have to wait and see.
England’s loudest and most punctual band is back. Forty-one years after the comedy classic "This is Spinal Tap," SPINAL TAP II: THE END CONTINUES reunites director Rob Reiner with Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer as they reprise their iconic roles as the…
It would be very funny if they marketed this film as “The movie that ACME tried to bury.”
Will Forte calls the fans “underdogs who fought a major corporation” to get ‘COYOTE VS ACME’ released. Warner Bros is being referred to as ACME for the entire #SDCC panel for legal reasons
I’m so serious when I say this: If there are advanced screenings of this film or screeners available for critics, I want in. This looks way more interesting to me than Jurassic World: Rebirth.
Vietnam. 1968. A recon unit known as Vulture Squad is sent to an isolated jungle valley. It's a fight for survival when deadly dinosaurs attack. 🦖 Watch the new theatrical trailer for PRIMITIVE WAR, only in theaters on August 21.
I don't know how I went until today without knowing that Charlie Day and Mary Elizabeth Ellis both appeared on Reno 911! together before It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia existed in 2004, and they're playing incestuous fraternal twins.
I just hyena cackled at "Data is their food." I feel like whoever was writing the title cards for this trailer was trying to actively sabotage this movie.
First trailer for a new ‘WAR OF THE WORLDS’ movie set entirely on a computer screen starring Ice Cube. Releasing July 30 on Prime Video.
There is a part of me that wants to use my Alamo Season Pass to go to a screening of Fantastic Four: First Steps, but literally only to see the trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash, and once that plays I'd just leave. I want to see that trailer on the big screen, somehow.
Hulk obviously sucked in real life, but nothing I've ever experienced in a theater was as cool as going to a 35mm screening of Gremlins 2 and hearing someone quietly say "Oh no" because they thought the 35mm print had *actually* broken down during this part.
RIP Hulk Hogan I hope there are sexy lady Gremlins in the afterlife for ya 🙏🤼♂️💔
Still kicking myself that I missed this at SXSW. Literally, without exception, every person I encountered at SXSW this year who saw this film loved it. If you're going to TIFF this year, make room for this.
NIRVANNA THE BAND THE SHOW THE MOVIE. Directed by Matt Johnson. Official Selection | Toronto International Film Festival 2025. #TIFF25
The sequence where they’re trying to weld through the sunken ship to save drowning sailors while they hold hands through a metal grate as the sailors suffocate is one of the most haunting and effective scenes of Bay’s career. Shame about the rest of the movie, but part is great.
Parents are watching Pearl Harbor on AMC and I don’t think it’s a good movie overall but the actual Pearl Harbor sequence is very harrowing
I saw Coming 2 America earlier this week and hated it, but the one part I couldn't deny was that the prosthetic makeup was great, despite the absence of Rick Baker. So, it shouldn't come as a shock that Mike Marino (A Different Man, The Penguin) was in charge. Dude is a beast.

Far from his most significant work, it always cracked me up that Ozzy Osborne was the shop merchant in the video game Brutal Legend. In a game full of musician cameos, his was, by far, the funniest.
