Jackie Elward for CA State Assembly
@Jackie_Elward
Candidate for CA State Assembly District 12 to represent Marin and Sonoma Counties. Rohnert Park Councilmember. Labor rooted. 🇨🇩🇺🇸
I'm running for CA Assembly in #AD12 to represent Marin & Sonoma counties. I'm a Rohnert Park Councilwoman, educator & labor organizer who won’t back down from doing what’s right. The North Bay has a proud history of lighting the progressive path forward.

Spent the morning at the Mill Valley Farmers Market. It’s great to be out in the community, supporting local farmers and small businesses and hearing what matters to folks across Marin.

Stopped by the Oakmont Democratic Club potluck last night. Beautiful setting, good food, thoughtful people. Grateful to be in community with folks who care deeply about the future of our region.

Loved joining the Marin Women’s PAC for their ice cream social last night at Frankie & Jo’s in Larkspur. Great people, great conversations, and a progressive women-owned business serving up the best scoops around. Grateful to connect with women doing the work across Marin.

Went to the Marin Transit open house to hear about the MASCOTS project. It’s about better service, more access, and cleaner transit across Marin and Sonoma.

Funny how all that protect women’s sports energy goes right out the window when women ask for more of the revenue they generate.
Over 70 leaders and organizations have endorsed our campaign for State Assembly, including Congressman Mike Thompson, Lynn Woolsey, Fiona Ma, local DAs, mayors across AD12, and the Sonoma State University Young Dems. Add your name: jackie4assembly.com/endorsements

Farm Fest in Petaluma was all Sonoma County greatness: local ag, live music, great food, and one very cheerful cow. Thanks to the Farm Bureau for putting it all together.

Volunteered at Rivertown Revival in Petaluma last night. Art, music, great people, and a cause worth showing up for. Thanks to Friends of the Petaluma River.

🍏 Cooking and distributing over 225,000 meals for North Bay residents facing serious illness every year. 🍎 Mentoring teens. 🍏 Connecting thousands to nutritious, locally sourced food. Great visit with the Ceres Community Project @ their soon-to-be completed community kitchen…
Joined one of many rallies across Marin yesterday as part of a countywide day of action for civil rights and democracy. Thank you Indivisible Novato for hosting the Novato event. Proud to keep up the fight for Good Trouble.

Joined NUHW nurses at Petaluma Valley Hospital this morning on the picket line. They are fighting for a fair contract and safer staffing. Proud to stand with them.

Spent the morning with Upward Bound students at Sonoma State learning about government and civic power. These future leaders brought big questions and big energy. Grateful to be part of it.

Grateful to the @WineCountryYDs for hosting last night’s AD12 forum and to Teamsters 665 for opening their union hall. It was a real conversation with people who care: housing, climate, healthcare, education. Proud to share the stage with fellow candidates.

All of my colleagues on the Rohnert Park City Council have endorsed me for State Assembly. We’ve delivered on housing, homelessness, open space, and mental health. Now I’m ready to fight for our region in Sacramento.

👀 nice Jackie for Assembly sign

Proud to have Congressman Mike Thompson’s endorsement for State Assembly. He’s led on gun safety and delivers for the North Bay. Let’s win this together.

Today, we mark Black Women’s Equal Pay Day. Proud to join my colleagues in introducing a resolution demanding equal pay for equal work. This is long overdue. thegrio.com/2025/07/10/mem…
Started the day at the Bastille Day French Market and Marin Farmers Market in San Rafael, then stopped by Petaluma’s Art and Garden Festival. Proud to see the SAFE Team van. It’s the same program we launched in Rohnert Park in 2021.

Great night in San Anselmo! So fun dancing to Wonderbread 5 and seeing so many friends at Live on the Avenue. Well done, San Anselmo. Catch it every Fri & Sat through Sept 27.

Joyeux 14 Juillet — Happy Bastille Day! Honoring liberté, égalité, fraternité right here in Santa Rosa. Un grand merci à l’Alliance Française de Santa Rosa pour cette belle célébration !
