Typical SCUBA diving Floridian that loves everything outdoors! Pics and video are mostly from my lens!
How it is. How it was. I can't imagine how incredible South Florida was back in peak #Florida #Everglades times. I so wish I could somehow visit the Florida of this old map. #alligators #BrowardCounty #DadeCounty #RiverofGrass

Police divers in the canal at US-27 and Pines have apparently found a vehicle

We need to impeach this SOB!!!!
Sen. Rick Scott introduces bill to extend Canadian ‘snowbird’ stays in Florida flvoicenews.com/sen-rick-scott…
Just a bit of Saharan dust over South Florida today lol. Distance to the Guitar Hotel is 7.32 miles. I was going to take a picture of downtown Fort Lauderdale but it's invisible #FLwx

Hot, hazy and humid South Florida weekend ahead! TGIF

Just the FWC wrangling a gator on the Turnpike in Doral
Remember: always assume alligators are present in any of these waterbodies, never feed them, keep your distance if you see one, swim only in designated swimming areas during daylight hours, and keep pets on a leash and away from the water’s edge.
I can't believe it's been 10 years since Perry and Austin left Jupiter Inlet to go fishing and were lost at sea in a storm. Friends reported receiving a Snapchat from the boys with the words, “We’re f’d,” as the weather grew worse. I upped my PLB game because of this. RIP

Third crash into a South Florida canal today. This time on US-27 just north of Alligator Alley. This canal is notorious because a few miles north of here a full on tractor trailer and driver were lost for 8 months under water until a SFWMD employee found it. RIP
That nose down approach to MIA never gets old! They just don't make em like they used to!

Our reefs are still beautiful but the sad reality is 90% of them are gone since the 1970's when I first snorkeled off of Ft Laud and we had a barrier reef 15' off the beach. Flood control, seawalls and condos were honestly a terrible idea.
Did you know Florida has the largest bank barrier reef system in the United States? Florida’s Coral Reef stretches over 350 miles from Martin County to the Dry Tortugas off Key West. #CoralAwarenessWeek
