A sound, biblical church, led by discerning shepherds, is one of the greatest safeguards we have against a lack of discernment. founders.org/articles/devel…
The greatest challenge that solid, Christian men face, is how to confront feminism in the home and church.
Sometimes, I read a book and want to highlight or underline the entire thing 😅 Since I can't do that, I'll just post this because it's really good.

It is important that we publicly promote natural reactions (disgust) to this disgusting behavior. It is not mean, it is a tether to our humanity. This is not natural or humane in the slightest, and can only be seen as an abomination worthy of death. As Paul says in Romans 1:32.
If you didn't feel immediately REVULSION, suspicion, and indignation (perhaps even rage), you have zero spiritual discernment. You are not "tolerant," you are disgusting.
We are entirely dependent on the Creator for every breath we draw.
Coffee was made for parents of deep thinkers. My son just spent the last half hour talking to me about angels, demons, his desire to understand eternity, souls, and Jesus' resurrection. He asked such deep questions that I could only guess the answers to 🥲 my brain got a workout!
Our freshly picked mangos might not look pretty, but they taste amazing 😍 this was dessert last night! (Minus the avocado)

Going to members meetings at church always makes me appreciate our pastors and elders more because of what they're dealing with behind the scenes to make the church run well. Praise the Lord for good elders who shepherd the congregation well ❤️
This Lord's Day, @gracebaptist church will join countless other Baptist churches in gathering to worship our Lord. We will corporately confess the Apostles' Creed in the morning and the Nicene Creed in the evening—not because some denominational headquarters demands it of us,…
I got to spend a lot of time with the kids from our church all last week. From the youngest to the teens, they are all so special. Seeing so many families raise their kids to know Christ as their Savior is just incredible. The local church is a blessing ❤️
One of the most quietly impactful ministries of @gracebaptist (in cooperation with @FoundersSem) is our pulpit supply ministry. Almost every Lord's Day, we have gifted brothers preaching the Word to congregations across South Florida that find themselves, for whatever reason,…
I had a busy week and missed what a lot of the Baptist hubbub was about, but I did happen to pick this up from our church's resource room. Excited to add this to my reading pile soon!

I am in my 30s and somehow I'm just now learning about Grimm's and Verner's laws. They're so interesting. My public school education was so lacking!
When your evening plans are unexpectedly cancelled because of sickness, it's required that you use that time to read, right?
I have no memories of being sick during the summer when I was a kid. Summer colds/viruses seem to be a new thing and I don't love it 🥲
"The whole of your civilization rests upon the shoulders of men who have done work that most people will not do - and that the physically weaker sex could not have done." 🔥 -Anthony Esolen
I wonder why people stopped using "mayhap" in everyday language. Seems like a waste of a good word 🥲
