26 years old, he/him, reluctantly Texan. Modeling British locomotives and the Island of Sodor. Formerly JMS_Models. Print comms closed. Website in development.
Unfortunately I return to twitter to hawk my wares. You might remember me as JMS_Models- I've since rebranded and moved to bluesky, but I'm back to let you all know of my first official Fourmill Models product in development my 'Bachlin' BR 78 Valve gear and rods. A thread 🧵1/6
A bit rough at the moment but just so you all know the idea is sound, here. Have this. By the way, anyone know how to get extra crankpins for the narrow gauge engines? I think my floor ate two of them.
I’ve been at work on adjusting the rods- sorry for the slow process by the way, working two jobs has been kicking my ass- but I’m ALSO prototyping another set of rods for a much smaller engine. If the printed test set goes well, none of you will be ready. Mwah ha ha.
Hey everyone, quick update but unfortunate on the rods. The rods are the correct size, which is good. But due to me not reading the design guides properly, in addition to not doing prototypes, the etches have design flaws that will need fixing, which means another wait. (1/3)
Yknow, a LOT of yall bidding on the props are forgetting about GBP to USD conversion rates, shipping costs ($180 min), and the many fees PropStore charges. Best be able to pay double the hammer price if you dont wanna go broke and/ or incur PropStore’s wrath. This isnt ebay.
Some people have asked about the stuff I've been selling and it's been lost in the shuffle of other posts. So I've made a google doc of all the models and toys I'm selling. (US Only) Link: docs.google.com/document/d/1v5…
You know what? In the spirit of #AwdryEx5 here’s the prototype. Tweaks need to be made and then yet more resin tests, and then more tweaks and so on and so forth.

"Cmon everyone! Shout! And warn Puffa!" Here is my model of Puffa the Dockside Engine! Happy 4th July!
Now that many fans own a piece of Thomas history thanks to the auction, there’s much discourse on the correct ways to handle these handmade treasures. We feel it would be a good time to go over the dos and don’ts of handling props we’ve learned in our 11 years of experience🧵
Happy pride month, everyone! Love yourselves and your friends extra hard not just this month, but every month. If you’re a bigot, then in the words of the late David Lynch, fix your heart or die.

Now that the auction's over I've come to spoil some of the fun as far as face lots go. A lot of people just paid big dollars for never-used duplicates.

Sales thread time! I’ll be selling various models and related items so expect to see some additions to this soon
With three days to go with this bullshit auction, it's important to emphasize that nobody is spared from the outrageous fees and taxes- whether you are UK, USA, Japanese, or Australian, you are *all* affected in different ways. Let me break it down for you:
