Devastated by Cleo Laine's death. A wonderful artist, a beautiful person and a musician to her fingertips. I was so lucky to make music with her. Rest in peace dear Cleo. youtube.com/watch?v=WqMvIT…

I find it hard to believe my mentor Sir Arthur Bliss died FIFTY years ago today. No one else helped me more and I will always be grateful for the immense kindness, generosity and encouragement he gave to a student just starting out on his career. @ArthurBlissSoc @theblisstrust

A wonderful end to the week at @BirmCons @MyBCU as four of our student violinists got the chance to take part in a masterclass with the great @JamesEhnes. His insights and encouragement were typically generous and entertaining. Thanks James!
Can't wait for @leytonorientfc's vital game v @mansfield on Tuesday evening. Apparently there's some trivial cup tie before then but I suppose one has to go...... @ManCity
