Day 2, Hometowns students heard from original case plaintiffs & defendants in Hazelwood v. Kuhlmeier. They analyzed evidence & testimony to write & present closing arguments for the case before Chief Judge Clark! Many thanks to the StL attorneys & professors for your support!
The 2024 St. Louis Hometowns program is off to a fabulous start! Students met at the Thomas F. Eagleton Courthouse for a 2 day orientation featuring an overview of the federal & state court system, a live court proceeding with Judge Sippel + a deep dive into the 1st Amendment.
