John Granville's Long Throw

During my first visits to @wwfcofficial there were 3 things that I distinctly remember - the sheer physicality of the games, the blonde flowing locks of our striker Nicky Evans and John Granville, our goalkeeper, having the ability to throw the ball further than he could kick it.

Pre-season is purely about fitness and putting together the patterns of play that will become the norm throughout the season. As much as a draw against a PL team is encouraging, no team wins promotion by performing well in friendlies.

Seen reports of League 1 tickets costing £30, Champ tickets costing £45 and PL tickets costing £75. With the goal for us being progression through the divisions, at what price would people be put off going? #Chairboys

Tricky to know until a few competitive games have been played but lots of positivity surround the new additions. It's interesting that another local League 1 club seems to be coming out excuses as to why players won't join. Little Wycombe doesn't seem to have those issues 😉
