A secondary analysis of the FINEARTS-HF trial examined the effect of finerenone vs. placebo on early readmissions in those randomized during/within 7 days of HHF. It showed that finerenone appeared to favorably influence risk of early HF readmissions. 🔗bit.ly/45pd2PM

To study HF RPM programs, a multinat'l (USA & India) single-arm trial of pts discharged following HHF was conducted. It showed that RPM ⬆️ NT-proBNP, KCCQ, 6MWT & GDMT utilization. This suggests a pathway to bridge the gap in post-HHF GDMT utilization. 🔗 bit.ly/4jdCMlM

Is uptitration of ARNI in stabilized hospitalized HF pts beneficial? Uptitration Rx led to greater ⬇️ NT-proBNP compared to ARNI w/o uptitration or ACEI/ARB after 8 weeks. In LVEF <40%, ARNI w/wo uptitration led to similar ⬇️ in NT-proBNP. 🔗bit.ly/3YPyHNe
