I delay send my emails for 1AM because I’m that committed to the bit
This is the reality of biglaw. It’s not uncommon to be working at 1am. But it is a rookie mistake to send the email at 1am. You draft it at 1; you send it no sooner than 7.

The year is 2025. I am editing a document titled MSA _w_SLA (V24 7.16)(V3)_FINAL-FINA (7.22). I am moments away from circulating for signatures. Before clicking send, opposing counsel responds that they want to re-visit the indemnity cap. I sigh, "FINAL-FINAL_FINAL, it is."
The year is 2025. You have one chance to fill out a government form correctly and receive the approval you need. You fill out the form correctly and submit it. No one works at the government anymore. Better luck next time.
Incredibly funny concept. I think a bar association might think this is close enough to UPL (given it looks and feels like it’s from a fake law firm), but I can appreciate the core premise here.
Lawyers are expensive, but *looking* like you have a lawyer is free. Today, I'm happy to announce my latest project, Heavyweight! Heavyweight lets you take any complaint you have, and make it look like a scary legal document without ever actually claiming to be from a lawyer.
Indemnity = “I’m going to pay for whatever comes up because of this fuckup.” Defend = “I’m going to hire and pay an attorney to defend you from the claims from this fuckup.” Hold harmless = “Really unclear but it’s probably helpful to have if there is a fuckup.”
