Eminem starred in 8 Mile and it got great reviews and made a load of money and then he just never did that again.
I'm close to breaking this whole thing wide open
George Lucas: So Luke will have to fight Imperial guards Producer: Imperial? But we're making the film in Britain George Lucas: Sorry, METRIC guards. And to voice Yoda we'll get Frank Oz Producer: Ahem George Lucas: We're getting Frank 28.35 Grams.
• Roald Dahl's kids books are aimed at much younger kids - pre-teens, really • They're way simpler - there's a lot less to build an identity behind • They have less of an ethos/viewpoint to identify with • His books are mostly unconnected (Charlie sequel notwithstanding)
My generation read Roald Dahl books as kids but we didnt build our identities around them nor did the books become a constant debate point in endless discourses. Thats the thing I don’t understand about the Harry Potter phenomenon, which are children’s books at the end of the day
as a society i think we've all agreed to stop creating passwords based on random stuff around our room but modern cinema refuses to acknowledge this
Homophone corner: I stupidly bought a Samsung that's too large to fit in my pocket - what a massive cell phone.
"How come Americans write the month first?" "That's how you say it, month first" "What's the date today?" "It's the fourth of July"
Me: So what do you do? Her: I research genomes Me: I love those little dudes, but you know it's actually pronounced 'gnomes'
I watched Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid with a friend and at the end found out he thought it was a genuine 1940s film. When I said "Didn't Steven Martin being in it give you a clue?", he replied "He looks a lot older in the Naked Gun films". He thought it was a young Leslie Nielsen.
People keep sharing this, saying he "deleted it quickly". Generally, people delete after a stupid post because they get pushback, and you can still see all those replies. I can't find any replies that @ in Grimes to "This tweet has been deleted" that mention Harewood.

LinkedIn really over estimates how much I need to know that someone I once worked with commented on a post by someone else I used to work with.
I'm in a hotel in Bishop's Castle, Shropshire, that's offered accommodation since 1719. It has clever salt and pepper grinders.
