half of me is made of sunsets and the other half night sky
sometimes i become a tree & then observe everything, i realise i can control nothing, not even the leaves that grow on & fall from me. i can only let the seasons do their job & there are mostly no reactions & there's only goodness out there & i've to help in every way possible.
I've not been sleeping well but then here I am, gently reminding myself how I am not those feelings, I am just witness, and like every feeling, these will pass as well.
being deeply aware in the circumstances does frustrate you in the initial days as you are going against mind's usual response and not letting your senses control you but then as time passes and with practice, you start observing feelings without judgment
i love watching rivers and the tall grass swaying around, everything so green and delicate
social gatherings and then how desperately i need a quiet room and nothing but to take a few deep breaths and then some more and then some more until i am in the meditative state again
but what after you are done with bodily pleasures, where your mind rests?
go inwards. you are the magic no one will ever be able to show you.
there's so much you can do to help yourself but all of that needs you to start with very little something
please know that you can choose to get rid of every feeling, every person that makes you feel suffocated whenever you want. please know that you are free and you deserve to breathe well.
today, you don't need to push yourself. today, you can choose to rest in the quiet truth and stay gently aware.
