True, Kisan Credit Cards (KCC) are for input costs & other farm related expenses, but with dipping farm incomes and poor crop realisations, with no way out, farmers have no choice but to use the KCC to fund for family related expenses, emergency; farmers simply are out of options

This is exactly what happens when farmers are denied the income he deserves. Farm credit only pushes them deeper into a debt trap. Sometimes I wonder why can't mainline economists stand up and question the reliance on more credit for farmers? @IsmatAraa
