As we progress through the summer, we are approaching major milestones for the future HMCS Robert Hampton Gray. In August, AOPS 6 will embark on sea trials, followed by the official naming ceremony prior to delivery of the final AOPS for the @RoyalCanNavy later this summer.

Today, we joined the stern mega block & center mega block for the future CCGS Donjek inside our Module Hall, forming a grand block. This is the first time a grand block has been joined in the Hall, enabling our team to begin work across the grand block join earlier in the build.

Today we celebrate the people, pride, and purpose that make our country strong. Hear from members of our team who are building the future of our fleet & why they’re proud to build ships for Canada. Thank you to those working to shape a stronger, safer, and more resilient Canada.

Made by Canadians, for Canada. A freshly painted unit has reached the Module Hall at Halifax Shipyard as the future CCGS Donjek steadily progresses. The first Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ship for the @CoastGuardCAN will be rolled to land level and formed later this year.

Recently, a large, prefabricated insert and mezz deck was transported from Marine Fabricators to Halifax Shipyard and then hoisted over and placed onto HMCS Halifax. Well done to all involved in this effort!
