It has been a phenomenal 3 days of celebrating science, diversity, and community. We wrap up #ISFS2023 with closing remarks by Dr. Gary Desir, Dr. Giovanna Guerrero-Medina, & Dr. Erin Heckler.

Session 6 brought us interesting work on: regulation of T-cell mobility by cancer-associated fibroblasts, inflammatory signals in myeloid malignancies, TAA T cell therapy in pediatric brain tumors, and spatially-driven gene signatures in breast cancer brain metastasis

In session 5, fellows shared insightful work on impact of HIV infection on lipids in the brain, MYC proto-oncogene regulated immune cell function, spatiotemporal dynamics of microbiota used in transplantation, social factors of substance use that increase risk of HIV infection
