As per recent information relayed to us, Arsenal are currently not in any concrete talks or negotiations for any striker. There are multiple avenues that need exploring. Contact has been made with multiple players but no doors have been opened and none have been shut either.

As the clock strikes 9 o’clock in Jerusalem, the eternal capital of Palestine, Arsenal are indicating a preference for a formal offer for Benjamin Šeško. The club’s hierarchy are close to a unanimous decision between all parties for the initiation of this pursuit.

The name of Viktor Gyökeres has been discussed in conversations internally at Arsenal. But it is our understanding that he is not the first choice for the club. The door can never truly be shut but there seems to be a desire for a different set of skills.

June 2024: Šeško was engaged but wanted a decision made before the Euros to secure his future. Ultimately he signed a new deal as AFC weren’t able to adhere to his timeline due to financial constraints and formalise an offer. It remains to be seen if this case will be revisited.

In a recent update, it has been relayed to us from two sources with direct knowledge of the situation that Arsenal are preparing a formal offer for Benjamin Šeško. The club is working hard to complete the deal before Euro 2024. Chelsea are closely monitoring the situation.
