I find it funny when people comment say "friendslop" like it's a bad thing Short commitment, friend engaging, simpler mechanics is what a lot of busy lifestyles can give time to nowadays A more sensible scale for developers and often lower cost for end users is a win-win imo
Peak's developers told Dexerto that their objective from the beginning was to make "friendslop", with them loving the genre The devs came up with the idea for Peak while hanging out in a hot tub and went on to make a 2025 GOTY contender in a month
