Some people have actually been buying some of my designs off #redbubble in the past few days. And it's not just my parents... although they are very supportive. If you want to give me small amounts of money in order to wear some things that I find funny: redbubble.com/people/samlevd…

I've been considering this for a while, so it's time to throw it out into the world... Securing Laravel is now open to sponsorships! 🎉 Your company can sponsor my weekly Security Tips, supporting my work in improving security within the Laravel and PHP communities .
Last night I spoke at the @Laravel worldwide meetup about the "magic" in Laravel. And you can watch it now, on YouTube! youtube.com/live/j9dqD9SSi…
I'm far from an expert on #accessibility, but there's one thing that I know: Your assumptions about who uses assistive tech are wrong.
Today’s Federal preliminary injunction against Automattic included me on page 24! Thanks, Northern District of California, for making my evening! courtlistener.com/docket/6922117…
With property hooks and asymmetric visibility in PHP8.4, it's now possible to drop @laravelphp Eloquent attributes for properties that you don't want to serialize.

Besides, we don't have to care about the default styling differences anymore, because everything is Chrome.
Today's hot take: CSS resets are a mistake, and have cause far more accessibility nightmares than they've ever fixed browser weirdness. If everything looks like a <div> why would you ever use anything else?

Getting a "Your data was included in a recent breach of our services" notification from a website/service that I've never heard of before... Has my previously @haveibeenpwned data been used and pwned again? I wonder how many accounts have been opened on dodgy sites in my name.

We live in the dumbest fucking timeline imaginable
Holy fuck it’s real

I know that I have a kid now which contributes, but why the heck does a weekly shop cost ~$300 now, where it used to cost us ~$150/fn like 3 years ago.
Seeing @MidgetK talk about package development at Laracon AU inspired me to build a "Testbench" driver for Tinkerwell which makes it super easy to experiment with the API of your packages during development! Go to conferences - get inspired! It's amazing.
I particularly like the requirement for less than 3 years of experience for a product that has been dead for much longer than 3 years. If this was a real job, I'd hope that the "flash experience" was just to help migrate away from flash.
is there a flash I am unaware of or is this job posting asking for a tech that has been outdated for 3+ years?
