Women's football is in such trouble. For all the hyperbole of commentary, that level is beyond embarrassing. I don't even mind that England won which is some indictment. The technique and ability is that of an under-12 lads team.
As someone who watches both, I hate the comparisons between men and women’s football. No, they are quite clearly not the same. But both are entertaining to watch in their own right. Just enjoy.
