🏥👩⚕️Across many countries, trans adolescents face systemic barriers to accessing timely & appropriate healthcare. When politics override medical judgment the most vulnerable who suffer.🩺💊🩹Trans persons have the right to live with dignity & access care free from discrimination.
I had a productive meeting with 🇵🇱 Amb. Mirosław Broiło of the Permanent Mission of Poland. Our discussion focused on the 2024 country visit and report, and developments since.

We stand w/ all LGBTI persons🌎. The moment we permit discrimination or violence against individuals of any group, the safety of all is at risk. 🙏 @IESOGI for being at the forefront of efforts to combat violence & discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Le mandat de l'Expert indépendant des Nations unies sur les questions #Lgbt+ a été renouvelé aujourd'hui au Conseil des droits de l'Homme, avec le soutien actif de la France. Le vote a dégagé une majorité plus confortable qu'il y a deux ans (23 Pour, 17 Contre, 7 abstentions).…
🙏 I would like to thank the 🇺🇳 UN Human Rights Council for the renewal of the #IESOGI mandate with 29 votes in favour, 15 against, and 3 absentions. I look forward to continuing this important work together!
🇪🇸It was a privilege to meet with Miriam Álvarez de la Rosa, Spanish Ambassador for Human Rights and co-chair of the Equal Rights Coalition, an essential voice in multilateral spaces and reflect on the shared urgency of defending human rights in an increasingly polarized world.
