When power is stable, life gets brighter. @ICRC & @SYRedCrescent , installed a new power line from Al Qadmous electrical substation in Tartous to improve electricity supply to the town’s water pumping station, bakery and hospital, to serve the community more consistently.


Our partners @SYRedCrescent delivered much needed aid for the affected people in Sweida yesterday. Supported by @ICRC @IFRC @UNICEF @WFP, this relief is vital in meeting urgent needs. Much more needs to be done. We stand ready to support & continue these efforts on the ground.

We continue to coordinate with @SYRedCrescent, @ifrc & local authorities on the wildfire response in #Lattakia. Our Water & Habitat team is also monitoring any potential water & electricity damage caused & will assess the situation on the ground once the fire is contained.
