I know that type of Christian often needs no excuse for bigotry, but I’m tying this current phenomenon to the rise of conservative political outreach in Black churches + the fact that a lot of them actively support Trump, Netanyahu and far right politics

Doctors hold lives in their hands. No one should lose critical healthcare because of strikes but that’s what’s happening now. That’s why a Conservative government led by me would ban doctors’ strikes, just like we do the army and police.

my hope is that we start calling bullshit when people pop up with this i'm now saved business and use that as a licence for bigotry you can't check because it's "religious belief". religious people must act accordingly as society members of a diverse world.

This lady at a church I used to attend was charging her own daughter to watch her grandchild the amount she paid for daycare back when she raised her because in her mind she owed her which she verbalized to a group of women with no shame at all.
