4th grade Capture the Flag to end PE for the year. This group is READY to be our @D59Rupley 5th graders! #physed
It’s always fun when my biggest kid, Will, is in town to surprise our 4th grade kids. We played “How well do you know your teachers?” using inference to answer questions. Teams could “phone a friend” (Will) if they needed help. Fun times @D59Rupley !

What a perfect day for #FieldDay @D59Rupley! Thanks @juliebotkin & @CoachNowlan for all the planning and effort that you put into it! We are #resilient!

Practicing our fluency passage this week with a twist on jump-in reading. Jump-in ECHO reading helps focus on the expression we use when reading. One person reads, then the rest of the group echoes. #4thgrade @D59Rupley #onedistrictoneteam

#ABCCountdown @D59Rupley! O is for Learning Outside! The weather ☀️ cooperated with us as we looked for idioms in the shade.

How many words can YOU find in “abandoned?” (Proper nouns don’t count but if you know the meaning of “don,” you can use it!) @D59Rupley

It's Mental Math Monday! How would you mentally calculate 144÷4?
This @D59Rupley class did so well with a challenging game of modified volleyball with 2 volleyballs going at the same time. Focus was on passing, positions, & placement. All players were involved. So much great strategy and teamwork 🙌 #physed @CoachNowlan
Our room smells amazing! For our ABC countdown, B is for Bubbles so why not break out some old-fashioned @BarbasolShave cream and have some good, clean fun? We practiced spelling and multiplication and now our desks are sparkling clean! @D59Rupley

Thank you to the amazing @juliebotkin 💙so grateful for you!!!!! You are such an asset @D59Rupley 💙
Nice job filling in on RBC this morning @juliebotkin We love having guests! 📹🎤💻
Huge 🙏🏻 thanks to Michelle, Sharon and Kim for putting together an amazing evening of family fun and learning 💙@D59Rupley @CCSD59 @CCSD59SpecialEd @teach_katie
Sharing informative slides about the 7 Natural Wonders. On each slide, students wrote text, included at least one picture, and added at least one other text feature. They also had to keep track of all their sources which was challenging! Getting ready for 5th grade! @D59Rupley

After reading Agate, What Good is a Moose?, we decorated our own rocks to represent our personality traits and experiences that shape our lives. We also chose one word as a theme or goal. Resilient, grace, whimsy, confident, smile & persistent were some. 💙 🫎 @D59Rupley #SEL
