I want to give a lot of credit to Coach McDermott and Creighton. Today was a great team effort and I’m grateful for the Hoya faithful who came out to support our team, especially the students in the middle of finals. I’m proud of our team’s growth and their defensive effort.
Today’s game had all the feelings of an old school BIG EAST battle and it’s an honor to be part of this epic rivalry. Credit to Syracuse and their fans - they made it tough and it was a raucous environment. I’m proud of our team, we took another step forward today.
It was an honor to spend the morning with some of our most loyal student fans on the Hilltop. Every member of Hoya Nation and the energy they bring is an essential component to our success as a program. Let’s do this!

A lot of credit to West Virginia - they had an amazing environment and made some really tough shots when they needed to. I am proud of how hard our guys played and I thought they grew up tonight. One more tough road test ahead before we get to back in front of Hoya Nation.
I’m always grateful for the opportunity to play in front of our most loyal fans. Credit to a well-coached UMBC squad, tonight was a tough test for our defense and chemistry. We’ve been showing growth with each outing and we can’t wait to get back in front of our fans again!
Sending condolences from our Hoya Family to those nearest and dearest to Coach Lou Carnesecca and St. John’s Basketball. One of the pioneers of the BIG EAST Conference - he is synonymous with this great league and will be truly missed by all in the basketball world.
I’m grateful for the Hoya Faithful who came out today to support our squad in a battle against a well-coached UAlbany team. We have a quick turnaround before facing UMBC on Monday. We need as many fans in the building as we get another opportunity to play in front of Hoya Nation!
