Hotep & Build. Historian. Black American Traditionalist.
For all the people that believe the solution to Black America’s problems is government intervention, this is a serious history and economic lesson for you. Brought to by none other than decorated economist Walter E. Williams. The War on Poverty: A Thread 🧵

One of the best things we had as a culture was shame. Making it SO embarrassing to act out of character that you’d never want to do it again. Y’all let a bunch of whores and perverts convince you that behaving like wild animals was somehow virtuous and authentic.
All of the social and cultural problems Black Americans have is because y’all either don’t know your history or have no respect for it. You can’t maintain a relationship, a job, your children, or your life because you thought you knew better than the people who came before you.
I told myself I wasn’t going to come back to Twitter and start ranting against the things I hated like I used to. ….but that’s just not who I am. I really hate you bastards and I’ve been meaning to let y’all know this for a long time now.
I’ve become more disagreeable, and it’s largely due to the degeneracy people deem agreeable these days. Thank God for allowing me to find my tribe years ago.

Master Willie H. Butler, 12 Yr Old Child Prodigy & Violinist. His musical genius landed him a scholarship where he’d be taught by famous violinist David Mannes. Mannes himself was taught violin by famous Black American composer John T. Douglass. 📰 1915. #HotepHistories

I was today years old when I found out that the word “pugilism” was a fancy term for “boxing”. A boxer was called a pugilist.
