After fleeing unsafe housing, a single mom of six moved to Daytona Beach with little to her name. Needing beds for her kids, she turned to Hope Florida. Her Hope Navigator connected her with a local church that provided beds and mattresses, helping her family rebuild and restart.

Jake, Hope Florida mentor, took on the case of 5 siblings in foster care who needed mentorship. As a steady role model, he is helping one brother catch up in school and pursue his passions. Another just made the honor roll. Jake works hard to never miss a call from the family.

Pregnant and on the verge of homelessness, a young 17-year-old woman in Miami called a trusted mentor who referred her to Hope Florida. Her Navigator worked diligently to secure her safe housing. Now in a supportive home, she’s on a path to thrive as a student and mother-to-be.

A senior woman without internet access was overwhelmed by the disability parking permit process. With steady guidance from an @elderaffairs Hope Navigator—and his proactive coordination with her doctor—the process was simplified and completed.
