I’m excited to join Pastor Walton and Rabbi Holzman this Sunday at First Baptist Church of Vienna for their Pulpit Swap. When communities come together across faith and race, something powerful happens. We gather as neighbors - united in the fight for justice, dignity, and love.
This Sunday is part 2 of our pulpit swap. I’m looking forward to welcoming my friend Rabbi Michael Holzman and members of the Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation to worship on Sunday. It’s going to be a great day of worship, dialogue and community connection. Join us.
Such a fun afternoon chatting about Virginia with members of Trillium Senior Living History Club in Tysons! What an awesome group!

Honored to join students from the VA Board for People with Disabilities Youth Leadership Academy for Capitol Day. I was especially proud to hear from my constituent James H., who gave powerful testimony on preventing Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. His advocacy was truly inspiring.

Yesterday Virginia farmers along with the @VaFarmBureau joined me in the 12th district to talk about their work. Agriculture is Virginia’s largest private industry and I’m proud of what we do in the General Assembly to support their farms!

Yesterday our office joined Fairfax County planners and neighbors to discuss the Gallows Road Multimodal Study. Proposed improvements aim to make the corridor safer for all—walkers, bikers, drivers & transit riders—with wider sidewalks, protected bike lanes, & better bus access.

So proud to be a member of the @VAHouseDems - where we prioritize healthcare for women! Virginia’s ‘Momnibus’ Is More Than a Set of Laws—It’s a Call to America to Protect Mothers Now - Ms. Magazine msmagazine.com/2025/07/14/vir…
Had a lovely evening with the Tysons-Vienna chapter of @MomsDemand. Grateful for the work they do every day to keep our communities safe from gun violence. Their advocacy matters—and it’s making a difference. ❤️ #EndGunViolence

Due to the threat of storms, the VA250 Mobile Museum at Vienna Elementary School is closing early today. If you didn't get to see it, you'll still have another chance, because the museum will reopen for a bonus day tomorrow, Sunday, July 13, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Say hello to our slate: HD-12, HD-13, HD-14. Fired up and ready to deliver. 🔥 #VAelections
Looks like @DominionEnergy is back at it again! After removing 374 trees in a 4-mile span from Vienna to Dunn Loring, another 131 trees were recently cut down along the W&OD. Still no plan for replanting. Still no new signed MOU with @NOVA_Parks. 😡 wjla.com/features/i-tea…
Last year I introduced HB1894 to require humane temperatures in Virginia prisons. The governor vetoed it. Now, during another brutal summer, people are suffering in extreme heat. This isn’t just inhumane, it’s dangerous. We must do better. wvtf.org/news/2025-07-1…
As a member of the Virginia Commission on Youth, I participated in the review of Virginia’s Special Education dispute resolution system this week in Richmond. Our advisory group offered several recommendations and I look forward to the final resolution in the weeks ahead.

Last night’s Empowering Women panel, held in celebration of the 19th Amendment, was a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come—and how far we still must go. Grateful to stand alongside so many bold voices for equity, leadership, and change.
