[2/3]The 3 resiliency parks detained up to 3 million gallons of stormwater to mitigate flooding ✅The 2 wet weather pumps pumped out a combined total of 11 million gallons of stormwater 🚧Barricades were deployed & no cars were stalled requiring emergency towing during the storm
🌧️Storm Recap🌧️ [1/3]Yesterday’s 5-hour-long storm brought over 1.5" of rain with a peak 15-minute intensity of 2.4"/hour. Due to ongoing investments in flood mitigation, on-street flooding in low-lying areas receded in less than 2 hours after the storm ended.

🚧UPDATE: Certain roads are beginning to reopen. If you see a barricade, do not move it or go around it. We remain under the NWS flood advisory until midnight.
🌧️Some roads are seeing flooding in @CityofHoboken. 🚧 Please abide by all barricades and gates in place. ⛔️ Do not move or drive around them, as they are in place for your safety and to protect your neighbors and their property.
⛈️UPDATE: We have deployed barricades in some areas. Residents are strongly encouraged to please stay off the roads if possible. Heavy rain is expected to continue.
