A new paper by @CharlesEdel, @KathrynPaik, and @john_auge shows how recent U.S. actions such as aid cuts and tariffs are undermining credibility in the Pacific Islands and creating space for greater Chinese influence in a region critical to U.S. security. csis.org/analysis/shift…
why fix UNESCO when you can gift it to China
Today, the United States announced our decision to withdraw from UNESCO. Like many UN organizations, UNESCO strayed from its founding mission. Going forward, U.S. participation in international organizations must make America safer, stronger, and more prosperous.
